Highlights Since 1962:
The best thing that has happened to me since 1962 are my sons Todd and Scott. They are and always have been the love of my life. They are truly amazing and I am so lucky to have such kind, responsible and gifted boys. And now I have two little grandsons, Billy and Henry. The only thing better than having one little boy is having two! I was always fortunate to have jobs where I could make use of my artistic ability. I was a designer for textbooks and educational material, a package designer for toys, and a graphic designer for corporate brochures and advertisements. After moving to Florida, I started doing decorative painting mostly on furniture. I exhibited my painted furniture in juried art shows in different cities on the west coast. I paint mostly lighthouses, bird nests, fruit and flowers. My second husband, Tom passed away in 2003. I dont see my sons and grandsons as much as I would like but they love coming to Florida! I am lucky to have my sister and her family living in the same town as me. I play tennis about four times a week and have a part time job in a tennis pro shop at a local country club. I keep very busy with my art, gardening, tennis, reading, movies, and my family and friends visiting. Life continues to be good to me and I am very grateful.

Memories:
Until the new WEHS was completed, double sessions was challenging along with changing classes especially when you gym class was down the street at the synagogue! I loved going to see West Side Story with Mr. Grahams English class. I remember mostly getting involved in the art aspect of my life at WEHS. I loved my art classes and learned so much from Mr. Hawthorne and Mr. Kuns. I loved decorating for dances and art shows. It was really exciting to design the emblem for West Essex High School in 1960, when I was almost seventeen, and see it still used today!
