Highlights Since 1962:
|
Four Broadway plays; Theatre World Award; nominated by the Cooper Hewitt for a “Chrysler Award for Innovation in Design” as a furniture designer/builder. One play produced off Broadway, wrote, directed and edited a feature length film. MOST IMPORTANT: married my wife in ’77 and have a lovely daughter, Sarah- aged 23. Spend time between houses in NYC and Rhinebeck, NY and Baina, NY- all 19th century houses I’ve restored – two have become landmarks.

Memories:
|
In my memory it’s as it should have been that “Camelot” was the theme for our senior year yearbook. Those two years were indeed (and remain) “A Great Shining Moment” – were in fact and remain so in my memory.
That wonderful brand spanking new theatre looms largest in my memory. It was touted at the time as a “state of the art” facility. I visited it alone during out 45th and, as I stood there, center stage, realized how well it had prepared me for my first experience on a Broadway stage 7 years after I graduated – as I took over the lead at the Booth Theatre in a play called “Butterflies Are Free”
