Family, especially my grandchildren, who�ve given me a second chance to raise children right (I get to try all over again); skipping (no pun intended) through life with both my best friend and the best thing that ever happened to me: Sally, my wife; living on New England islands all year round and plying their waters in season; most appreciatively embracing life and squeezing all I can out of it.

Hard memories softening and good memories getting even "gooder", like the Island Beach State Park escapade just after graduation; ducking academics; embracing athletics; womanizing (girlizing?); parties at Joy�s and Cliff�s; liking the school I was going to and everyone in it except for a few of the teachers; my SAT scores, which humbled me into realizing that I was wasting my mind away by virtue of mediocre academic work; coaches Back and Robinson; drunk driving deaths; "my crowd"
