Highlights Since 1962:

Family, interesting work, and spontaneous activities are the highlights. The boring details are: college, air force, variety of government jobs, self employed since 1991. We have lived in Colorado, Oregon, and now Virginia since 1976. Sarah has been a pre school teacher for the last 20 years. Catherine (mother of Isabella) works for an engineering firm nearby and Abby works for the government, also nearby. We are lucky.

Memories:

I have reached the point where I can’t remember where I put my car keys… so I confess memories of West Essex are pleasant, but not very specific. An indicator of my high school record is that I have more vivid memories of after school activity – a part tie job at Schanz Hardware, ski trips, smashing up the family car, etc. I do occasionally wish I was smarter or wiser to have better understood our time and appreciated what family, neighbors, teachers and friends gave us. My memory is of a relatively carefree time, with a lot of care from others.
