Highlights Since 1962:
|
Degrees from Middelbury College (1966) and University of Texas (1979) Peace Corps (Ethopia). Met husband in Ethiopian village. Marriage lasted 34 years. Director, Texas State Energy Office, 1980-92. Worked for both Republican and Democratic governors. Last boss was Ann Richards. Came to Colorado in 1993 to work at Laboratory following failed Presidential appointment. (Texas politics spilled over to the Clinton White House. Good story, but I only tell it in bars. It involves Enron). Led three delegations of state energy officials to China. Went back a fourth time to retrace the Silk Road as far as the Gobi desert. Wrote a book last year, now available in bookstores and Amazon.com: Power of the People: America�s New Electricity Choices.

Awesome classmates and friends. I thought we were special then and our recent splendid reunion confirms it. I haven�t had so much fun in a long time. Now I can�t wait for the 50th.
